Womans Retreat

Getting everyones cell numbers before we take off
Julie & Lori
Getting ready to pray before we left
Kim painted our backdrop and was our MC for the weekend
Hanging out together

Linda & Janice ran our boutique
Cindy & Amy listen as Lori teaches

We had a great weekend growing together in God's love. We had great teaching, hilarious skits, beautiful boutique, spirit filled afterglow, great songs for worship and lots of fellowship. God did some great things that weekend and lives have been forever changed. The enemy fought hard to disrupt our time together but the Lord put him in his place. I can't wait to see what next year holds. My word this year was "Affection " I am looking forward to studying my word. Thank you Lord for a great weekend together.

The Angels in heaven are rejoicing

At 1:50am this morning my sweet friend took her last breath here on earth and her first in heaven. The heavens were rejoicing for today was Donna's graduation day. Today there were many tears of sadness & joy shed for Donna she is an amazing mother, wife, daughter and friend. We will miss her more than words can say. I had the privilege of making her family dinner tonight, what a joy they were to be around they ministered to me more than I did to them. Her children smiling because mommy was with Jesus and not sick anymore. The Holy Spirit was so in that home today there was total peace there. Donna you were an amazing woman of God, your love for him was evident in all you did. I am honored to have had the chance to know you and call you my friend. I am going to miss you so much but I will see you again one day.

Prayer Please

This is what one does when they are sick
They watch High School Musical 2
Believe it or not he has strep and has a fever
Well we just got back from the doctor and my little guy has Strep, swollen glands and his tonsils are swollen and along with this comes a fever and a sore throat. Now I know he doesn't look sick but he is so please pray for him and that the rest of us don't get it. I am going on retreat next weekend and I am singing all weekend please pray I don't get it. I spoke to Joshua's teacher today and she said that the table of kids that Joshua sits with at school are all out today with strep 5 kids from the same class. (you see his teacher had strep last week) Joshua has been not acting like himself lately and even slept 13 1/2 hours the other night now we know why his body was trying to fight it off. So until tomorrow morning Joshua is contagious. According to the doctor you are not contagious after 24 hours of antibiotics. Thank you all for your prayers for Joshua and the rest of us.
